Thanks for the warm words Darko Antwi and we certainly need to come up with direct poems that pierce the heart of the heartless who yearn to see so many innocent children and women not forgetting mankind in general die..... SO PLAIN A MESSAGE.

Julian's verse opens with an assured line: 'This world is full of injustice', and ends with this uncertainty: 'Or maybe my voice pierces the heart of the heartless'. What a clever and modest way of sending a global 'Message' of his own!

The dozens of lines inbetween the aforementioned (alpha & omega)lines are equally strategic. Each plays a key role in delivering his 'Message'.

This poem could be reviewed as plain and simple. Perhaps 'too' simple. Yet we can't dismiss the fact that it carries the momentum of truth, which so many writers have shied away from - or adulterated it with unnecessary caricature.

Titles such as 'Crying Mama' and 'My Message' are typical of Julian's heartbeat for a degenerated world.

Hence, it's always a privilege to read from this literary pioneer - because it gives reader's the valuable access into the mind of a principal but disciplined artist.

It's a blessing we have people like you, Julian.
